Oftentimes people pop into r/overlord mentioning that they are hesitant in reading Overlord. Either they are slow and boring or they have reading issues, but we keep suggesting that they give it a read. Pretty much everyone ends up loving the Light Novels. I have only seen a few posts from people who were disappointed.
This is the original version of the Overlord series written by Kugane Maruyama (丸山くがね) under the same name. It is divided into two parts. The former part can be found here, and the latter part here. Good morning people. Just like the title says, I am looking for a good light novel, possibly a long one, that can calm my heart lol. I discovered light novels not even a year ago, thanks to Ovelord, and now i can't stop. My preferences are usually fantasy/sci-fi, but I honestly prefer the whole "Transported into another world" thing.
Is The Overlord Light Novel Finished? Even though the novel is not finished at the moment it will be soon. The Novel writer Kugane Maruyama has said that he will conclude the series with 18 Volumes. It is unclear if he will change his mind or not. He has been working on the novel since 2012. It has had a great run. In Volume 16 we saw Ainz

Of course it's sad that Overlord ends in 2 volumes considering what potential this novel has but if Maruyama decides to divide the volumes into two parts, then the content will be quite enough imo. Praying for a good ending.
